Client Engagement: Barbara has over thirty years of experience “walking the path” with clients from both the private and public sectors. By meeting clients where their current need is, Barbara’s engagements enable leaders to transform their businesses as she and her clients work together towards a solution. Her history in strategy development delivers a unique insight for clients as they anticipate implementation.
Capacity Building: Barbara believes that the opportunity to affect business leaders' insights and capabilities is a true privilege. Success is achieved by a client's ability to nurture and sustain momentum long after the engagement has ended. It is this belief that drives Barbara's deep commitment to partner and build capacity in every engagement.
Talent Management: As she developed strategies for organizations as a Bain consultant, Barbara was always passionate about the impact of her work on the people. It is that passion that drove her to assume talent management–focused leadership positions, including Director of Global Learning and Development at EMC² and Vice President at Forum Corporation (a leadership development firm). These leadership roles enabled Barbara to walk in her clients’ shoes and build meaningful employee experiences—practical learning that continues to serve her clients today.
Project Management: Since the beginning of her career, Barbara has led hundreds of complex global projects and designed and implemented enterprise-wide project management systems to build that capability in others. She is a member of the Project Management Institute (PMI), and continues to believe that projects are one of the most powerful ways organizations can deliver their value.
